The Project will produce the following outputs: (i) rehabilitation and improvement of about 123 kilometers (km) of core network roads; (ii) labor-intensive routine road maintenance on 45 km; (iii) sound and sustainable road maintenance policies; (iv) an efficient bidding and contracting system for engaging communities in road maintenance through local small contractors; (v) improved project management, supervision, and monitoring; and (vi) identification of modalities to ensure sustained rehabilitation and maintenance of rural feeder roads.
